About OSHEYA WEAR

Kiaora! I'm Celeste, the founder and creator of OSHEYA WEAR. As you are probably aware, I am currently very pregnant with my baby boy who is due to make his arrival in May! I have been married for just over a year now and have been trying to navigate this busy life as a wife and a mama to be. I grew up in South and East Auckland most of my life before deciding to make the big move to Kaikohe in 2024 for work. I whakapapa back to a small settlement in Kaeo NZ, Samoa, Tonga and represent all three cultures proudly.

Early 2025, OSHEYA WEAR was just an idea that I spoke about however, I didn't think that I was capable of bringing it to life. As the year went on, the idea still sat heavy on my heart so I decided to act on it. Most nights, I stayed up researching and watching videos on how to start a business and before I knew it, I was ready to launch!

August 20th 2025, I launched OSHEYA WEAR for the very first time and sold out in various items and sets. I never expected the launch to do as well as it did! It took me by suprise because if I never acted on it, I would have never known! Fast forward to February 2026, I'm about to restock for the fourth time after taking a break in November. Starting this business taught me alot about myself and how im capable of doing anything I put my mind to. I had zero experience in the business industry but yet managed to somehow start up OSHEYA so effortlessly! Even right down to the website, it was all self taught. I want to encourage everyone who is sitting on the fence about starting a business, get out of your comfort zone and do it! You will never know unless you try.

Eventually, I would like to make OSHEYA WEAR my full time mahi, but for now, it will continue to be something I do on the side.

I want to be able to provide affordable activewear for all our girls and eventually introduce plus sizes which is currently in the works.
